Internship & Study abroad 

During the third year, you spend a full semester studying at one of our many partner universities around the world. We have more than 100 partner institutions all over the globe: Argentina, Australia, Curaçao, Finland, Hong Kong, Peru, Taiwan, United States; you could end up anywhere! This is a unique opportunity to expand your knowledge of different cultures and develop your language skills. Non-Dutch students have the possibility to stay in the Netherlands and follow a minor (elective semester) at IBS or a minor from another Hanze UAS school.

The other semester is spent working in an internationally oriented company or organisation outside your home country, where you can apply what you have learnt during the first phase of your study.  Our students complete placements at top global companies, such as Hugo Boss in New York, Microsoft in Dublin, SEAT in Barcelona, Bosch in Mexico City, PwC in Hong Kong and Philips in Amsterdam, as well as at exciting SMEs and startups. Every student is assigned an internship supervisor who can guide and help you if you need advice.

IBS-U organizes multiple Internship and study abroad evenings in order to help students to make the best decision. Also, alumni students will be invited to provide students with information about their internship and future career. We believe that in these times, the best way to find an internship is through your connections . We can help you with the search of an internship.
